A Bit of my Process
I was thinking about what might be interesting to readers in my genre and I thought “Showing some of the process of illustrating". The first parts might not be as interesting as creating the actual pieces and characters but I will get to that eventually. WARNING: I am not a real blogger yet. I have this blog and I will try to become one. Be patient, it's a learning curve (I hope).
In these pictures below, they are from my journal/sketch book/poetry/rhyming lists and pretty much anything in between. I even wrote down one of my dreams in this book. If anyone reads these composition books posthumously I’m sure there going to say something like “That explains a lot!”. In the meantime, these pictures show some of my layout work. After I have the sonnet complete then I start thinking about layout and what I need to complete the illustrations. I then make the pieces for the picture with my hands then I scan it into the computer to put it together pretty much like I would on a canvas.

| These are very rudimentary sketches obviously but I need these to help me complete a more finished and final piece of art |

| I didn't get a very sharp picture but you still get the idea of the layout process. |
