Back to Work on a New Book

We returned from 2 week vacation last week and I feel like I've recovered quite well by now. I actually started working again, well, a few days ago but I still hadn't got around to making a new post here.

I already have a few more books in the works. Kind of rough drafts but the story is completed in my head. I chose to create the A to Z book idea for my next piece. The writing and scenes are done and now I'm sketching all the things I  will be making with notation about colors. When I finish this part then the real fun begins. Here are a few shots of some of the sketching.

This book is different because these objects exist. The only imagining was writing the sonnet, although it does take some creativity to draw and figure how these shapes and lines to translate into my art.

Next time I should have my camera up and ready to record some of what I do to create my papers I use for the illustrations. For now, have a great weekend and I 'll see you next week
